Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Cut in butter until it resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in 1/4 cup sugar. Add egg and milk; mix well.
Reserve 1 cup for topping. Press remaining batter into the bottom of prepared dish. Arrange peach slices over batter.
Sprinkle with reserved crumbs and 1/2 cup sugar.

1 stick butter, melted
1 cup sugar 1 cup self-rising flour 2 cups fresh blackberries, divided
To Make: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter, sugar and self-rising flour.
Stir until well combined. Pour half of the mixture into the bottom of an 8×8 baking dish. Reserve the other half for later.
